TWO SCHOLARSHIPS AWARDED

CONGRATULATIONS to our two scholarship winners.  We have decided to split our scholarship this year and award two $300 scholarships to members JACOB SMITH and CHRIS READ.  Both members met the qualifications and with their community service work and club work and a couple of excellent essays, we found both deserving.  Congratulations to both of you.

As we enter this "quiet" time of the year for snowmobilers, remember all of the work that still goes on when we are not able to get out and play.  Important legislation is still out there and it is up to us to make the difference.  For current issues and contacts please visit the ISSA webpage at www.iowasnowmobiler.com.  This is your best resource for current events.  Our next club event will be our annual Grass Drags and Swap Meet on Sunday, October 28th, 2012.  Have a great summer !

About Us.............

Central Iowa Snowmobilers is a club located in and near Marshalltown, Ia.

We have approximately 100 family memberships and maintain 150 miles of

groomed trails in 5 counties - Marshall, Story, Hardin, Grundy & Tama.  Our trail system joins Tri County Snowmobile association on the east and

Saylorville Dam Snowmobile Club on the west.  Our trails are goomed with our 2005 Tucker Groomer that we obtained in February of 2011.  Trails and grooming equipment are purchased with registration funds and regulated by the Iowa

DNR and the ISSA - Iowa State Snowmobile Association.  We thank them

both for their support !
